Festival season continues in Ottawa this weekend with some great options plus more events for the whole family!
Ottawa Chamberfest – It is the 25th anniversary of this festival celebrating chamber music. This festival runs from July 26 to August 9 and there are some amazing performers this year. Ottawa Asian Fest – Running through the weekend in Chinatown, the annual Asian Fest is not to be missed. The highlight for us is the Asian Night Market where the streets of Chinatown are full of culture, music, food and more!
The 5K Foam Fest – This large outdoor obstacle course happens tomorrow and it is a pile of FUN! Visit the website to see how you can participate. The list of obstacles is endless and fun to be had by all.
Gatineau Riverfest – Taking place on Saturday from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. This festival will be a celebration of one of the areas greatest gems – the Gatineau River! Floatillas, yoga, dragon boats…so much to do!
Taste of the Valley – Midsummer Herbfest – Taking place on Sunday, at Waba Cottage Museum & Gardens in Braeside, this event celebrates the midsummer harvest of delicious produce and herbs. The event is absolutely FREE! A celebration of healthy living for the whole family.
