Looking for Reclaimed Wood? Manotick Station is the Place to Go

Reclaimed wood is beautiful material to use in a renovation in both small and large quantities. Unfortunately it can be tricky and costly to find. However, a new showroom just east of Manotick is offering a place for us to find it close to home. tiles-of-wood-salvaged-from-old-wagons-in-europe-are-glued-tAtmosphère & Bois is located at 6178 Mitch Owens Road in Manotick Station and is open Monday through Saturday. They carry an enormous, wide-ranging amount of wood from reclaimed oak flooring found in 18th-century castles and old train cars in Europe to weathered barn wood and hefty pine beams salvaged from Canadian barns. They also have four rooms that illustrate in how many different ways re-claimed wood can be used. Worth the trip to see even if you’re not positive re-claimed wood is for you!
