Family Fun Zone for the Grey Cup Weekend – The Family Fun Zone is located at Lansdowne Park in celebration of Grey Cup Weekend. Running until November 25th, the Family Fun Zone is a great place for families looking to participate in fun, interactive, outdoor activities. Live and love your favourite game by taking part in a variety of football themed stations. Interested in football target practice, learning proper passing techniques, field goal kicks, and sharpening your football skills? The Family Fun Zone is your go-to Festival experience for obstacle courses, getting your face painted, running into your favourite player, meeting mascots and catching various cheer team members performances throughout the week.

Grey Cup Festival – Of course, with the Grey Cup taking place on Sunday of course Ottawa would put on a festival to celebrate. There are loads of events and activities happening starting now and running all through the weekend. Beckwith Township Christmas Craft Fair – Live near Beckwith? It’s your turn to enjoy your local craft fair in time for the holidays. Browse, gift shop, taste, enjoy! Completely FREE and taking place at Beckwith Public School.

Holiyay Free Wheeling Craft Market – Brought to you by Makerspace North, this craft market takes place all weekend at 250 City Centre. Beautiful local pieces all done by local artisans…not to be missed!

Red Trillium Studio Tour – Taking place on both Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm, this tour has been taking place for 18 years and is a celebration and showcase of local artists from West Carleton. There will be a wide variety of works in pottery, sculpture, watercolours, jewellry, beading, photography, mixed media and more. Be sure to stop in at one of the sponsoring restaurants for a snack or lunch. Restaurants include The Cheshire Cat, Poco Pazzo on March Road, The Swan, the Carp Creamery and more. Dine-A-Rama – Taking place all through Grey Cup Weekend Dine-A-Rama is the ultimate FOODIE WEEKEND with a number of restaurants to choose from that will be donating a portion of their proceeds to support local cancer care, allowing all foodies to come together to improve lives of others. There is no better weekend to head out and enjoy a ton of local restaurants you and your family haven’t tried before!

Magic of Lights – Takes place all through the holiday season. Magic of Lights is comprised of festive and vibrant LED lighted displays celebrating the joy of the holidays. A “drive through” experience from the comfort of your own car, the Wesley Clover Parks Campground route will be overflowing with spectacular light displays and animations where holiday themes will come to life in sparkling lights.  Magic of Lights is truly a holiday family tradition and will be for years to come. Select proceeds from each carload admission will once again benefit the Ottawa Senator’s Foundation, last year’s event raised over $47,000 for this very deserving charity! Pile everyone in the car and bring them out to see the lights!
