It’s Ottawa Race Weekend this weekend so there are lots of events surrounding this. Here are our top picks for events taking place in Ottawa this weekend.

Venus and Adonis – Running tonight and tomorrow night, Ottawa’s longest running chamber choir Seventeen Voyces will perform John Blow’s Venus and Adonis at the Southminster United Church. Performances begin at 7:30 and tickets run from $15 to $30.

Nature Nocturne at Museum of Nature – Taking place this evening from 8:00 pm to midnight this event features music, activities and more. $25 per ticket.

Ottawa Race Weekend – Lots of events surrounding the many races taking place in our city this weekend including FREE music all weekend at Festival Plaza in front of City Hall, a party on Sparks Street and kids activities all weekend long.

Kanata-Carleton Cultural Festival – Taking place at Earl of March High School and Sandwell Green Park tomorrow from 10 am to 9:30 pm. This event offers so many events from music to dancing to food to performances….a great event for the whole family to enjoy and it is totally FREE.
