New Pub Opens in Historical Church in Lowertown

A former church, Saint Brigid’s, in Lowertown is home to Ottawa’s newest pub. Brigid’s Well is now open in the former church’s basement and can be accessed from Cumberland Street, just south of St. Patrick’s. The pub is run by an Irish immigrant, Patrick McDonald who attended the church when it was still consecrated. It has an historical feel to it and it is sure to become a popular spot amongst Ottawans.
